Cooperation between Danish research and NGOs about development of sustainable organic agriculture

The workshop Cooperation between Danish research and NGOs about development of sustainable organic agriculture was held in Aarhus on the 9th November 2010 with the aim to identify potentials, challenges and mutual objectives of research and development institutions in relation to organic and agro-ecological agricultural development in Asia, Africa and Latin America, and furthermore to suggest a model for networking with ideas on stakeholders, roles and linking and a time plan for getting stakeholders on board, a funding overview and allocation of tasks to workshop participating institutions and organisations. The objective was therefore to present, discuss and analyse the opportunities and limitations of collaboration between research institutions and NGOs focusing on organic and/or agro-ecological arming. 

The conference aimed to exchange experiences between NGOs and researchers, and in this way form a platform for future collaboration.
