Development in Practice is enabling free full-text access and reduced price print copies of the recent special issue on Citizens' Media to support and highlight Conversations with the Earth, an indigenous-led multimedia campaign exhibiting in Copenhagen at COP15.


DTU Climate Change Technologies Conference. Final report, presentations and recommendations from the conference that was held on September 17, 2009. The conference gathered representatives from industry, academia and publilc authorities to discuss solutions and recommendations on how to achieve fast development and implementation of climate change technology.


CGD Climate Policy Choices Survey. Center for Global Development (CGD) has launched a survey to collect views on what an efficient, effective, and equitable climate agreement could look like. The survey counts 15 questions and takes about 15 minutes. Please contribute before November 30, 2009.

New project supported by DDRN: Climate Resilient Cities in South Asia

Climate Resilient Cities in South Asia is an initiative aimed at consolidating and generating knowledge on approaches, indicators, tools, ways and means of enhancing resilience to climate change. Urban communities and stakeholders of urban governance as well as the scientific research community are key audience for this initiative. Enhancing accessibility to information on resilience enhancing efforts in cities of South Asia is a key output that the initiative aims at achieving.

Development Dialogue Report: Climate Justice and Gender

As part of the Environmental Justice and Gender Programme, the Development Dialoguetook place on December 18-19, 2008 in Bolsena, Italy. More than 80 participants from all over the world, including students from some 23 different countries actively participated in the debates. The topics and issues covered ranged from political ecology, environmental justice and the more innovative gender and climate change nexus. Alternatives to local/global development approaches were also discussed.
