NEW: Call for applications for Organic Research, Development and Demonstration programme (Organic RDD) 2011-2013: Growth, robustness and credibility in organic farming and food systems

The (Danish) Green Development and Demonstration Programme Board (GDDP Board) calls for applications to Organic Research, Development and Demonstration programme, 2011-2013 which should contribute to fulfilling the objectives in the Green Growth agreement. The call has been prepared in cooperation with the International Centre for Research in Organic Food Systems, ICROFS. Under the GDDP Act ICROFS’ international Board shall make recom-mendations to the GDDP Board on focus areas in connection with specific organic programmes.

Closing date: September 13, 2010


NEW: Interessetilkendegivelse 2010 til pilotforskningsprojekter med Tanzania [in Danish]

Danmark indgik i 2008 et forskningssamarbejde med Tanzania og man har valgt følgende overordnede temaer for pilotprojekter: ”Business Sector, Urbanisation and Good Governance”.

Der er i 2010 om projekterne “Examining Urbanization Problems, Challenges and Opportunities in Tanzania” og “Productivity, Market Assess and Incomes for Small farming businesses through Contracts”

Danske forskningsinstitutioner har nu mulighed for at tilkendegive deres interesse i at indgå i et samarbejde med de tanzanianske forskningsinstitutioner om de pågældende projekter.

Global Environmental Leadership Fellows - University of Minnesota

The University of Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment (IonE) is searching for  postdoctoral candidates to fill four new Global Environmental Leadership Fellows positions for research on global issues such as land use and ecosystem management and change, agriculture and food security, freshwater resources and water security, climate change adaptation, links between population & development.
