Extraordinary General Assembly 2011

The 7th General Assembly was held on 14 December 2011 at Institute of Geography & Geology, University of Copenhagen.

Since the financial support to DDRN from DANIDA ended ultimo December 2011, this extraordinary General Assembly was held to discuss how DDRN will continue to function as a non-governmental organization. Since October 2011, a special taskforce of the Board has been reviewing DDRN objectives, activity plan and alternative funding options in 2012 and onwards. The General Assembly passed the proposal to amend the DDRN articles of association to allow for the election of a treasurer and an auditor, as well as a proposal for a language revision of the objectives.
