NEW: Partnership 2012 NGO+Business Conference

Copenhagen Business School, the CSR Foundation, ISOBRO (The Danish professional association for fundraisers), the Confederation of Danish Industries, and the European Fundraising Association have organised the conference 'Partnership 2012', which will lead the way for good partnerships, with the participation of Kofi Annan, the former Secretary-General of the UN, who put social responsibility on the global agenda. The event marks an increased Danish and international focus on the necessity of partnerships to find solutions to some of the large societal and environmental problems - both from the Danish and international corporate sectors, the government and the Danish CSR Council.

Call for proposals: Is Multilateralism in Crisis?

The WTO 2012 Public Forum entitled "Is Multilateralism in Crisis?” to be held 24-26 September, 2012 has opened a call for proposals for civil society representatives interested in organizing a session during the 2012 Public Forum.

Research Seminar: Global Production Networks and Labour: state of the art and future research

The seminar will take stock of the Global Production Network research agenda and address issues of socio-spatial organisation of labour and promotion of international labour standards.

Political Economy of Trade Liberalization in Developing East Asia: Sustainability, Governance, and the Role of Small Business

The University of Brayijawa is organising this conference to discuss the recent trade policy performances of East Asian countries and discuss the role which East Asia could play in the promotion of global trade liberalization. The conference will gather scholars and experts on the Economics, Management, and Accounting areas. It will actively promote a discussion which is expected to contribute to the theoretical and empirical literature and policy dialogue particularly on the East Asian integration and cooperation.
