About us - General Assembly

DDRN is organised as an open network with a board of directors and a secretariat. The highest authority is the general assembly, which is held annually and elects the board.

Notice of the annual general assembly and a draft agenda are communicated electronically to all members no later than four weeks prior to the meeting. Proposals to be included on the agenda should be sent to the chairperson of the board no later than three weeks prior to the meeting.

Proposals to be discussed at the annual general assembly and the final draft agenda will be available on the network website or can be requested from the secretariat, from one week prior to the general assembly. The agenda must be approved at the annual general assembly.

General Assembly 2013

The eight general assembly of the DDRN is to be hold on January 28, 2013, 14.00 - 16:00, at Copenhagen Business School, Room SP112.

General Assembly 2011

The sixth, and last, general assembly of the DDRN as a Danida funded project is to be held on June 15, 2011, 13:45-16:00, at the Institute of Geography & Geology, University of Copenhagen, Room 6.1.611 (Area 6, 1st floor, Staff room).

General Assembly 2010

The fifth general assembly of DDRN was held on May 26, 2010, 13:00-15:00, at the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

At the the GA, the five board members on election were all re-elected. In addition, a new candidate was elected as a substitute member of the board. For more information, please follow this link.

General Assembly 2009

The fourth general assembly of DDRN was held on May 25, 2009 - Sø auditorium 4, Building 1252, Universitetsparken, Aarhus University.

The GA included presentations of completed, on-going and future DDRN activities and election of board members and substitutes. To read more, follow this link.

General Assembly 2008

The third general assembly of DDRN was held on:
May 21, 2008, 13.00- 17.00, Department of Geography and Geology, University of Copenhagen.

General Assembly 2007

The second general assembly of DDRN was held on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS). Issues on the agenda included: election of the board, approval of the dtraft articles of association and presentation of the work plan for 2007.

The Assembly was followed by the seminar "How can knowledge generation and utilisation improve development cooperation?"

General Assembly 2006

The first general assembly of DDRN was held on November 21, 2006 at the Department of Geography and Geology, University of Copenhagen, where the network is hosted. The Assembly elected the board of the network and discussed the draft Articles of Association. It was decided that these should be revised by the board and presented again to the second General Assembly.
