Other activities

Network members can also apply for funding for other activities that can promote a dynamic interaction among researchers and between researchers and development practitioners in Denmark and across North/South. Innovative activities, and approaches promoting dissemination and use of research-based knowledge are particularly encouraged, e.g.:

• Publication of briefs
• Activities to disseminate research results e.g. journalistic assistance in producing two-pagers with key research results
• Development of new methodologies, tools, and/or guidelines
• Other ideas for innovative activities
• Participation as presenter, keynote speaker, or facilitator in international events related to DDRN priority topics and themes may be co-funded

CONDITIONS:

• The activity must include Danish partnership/key participation
• For participation in international events, co-funding is required
• In all activity documents and materials to be disseminated, the organisers must make explicit that the activity is financially supported by DDRN
• Information materials for the activity must be submitted to DDRN in due time for posting on DDRN’s website
• DDRN must be presented and DDRN information material distributed (if applicable)
• Members receiving funding are responsible for the organisation, accounting, and reporting of the event, incl. elaboration of concept note, programme, budget, and logistics
• Any changes to the activity described in the application must be communicated to DDRN in advance
• Any delays from the schedule provided in the application must be communicated to DDRN in advance
• The activity must be carried out before the deadline specified
• There is no pre-established financial support ceiling for other activities. The size of the grant will be decided by the DDRN board depending on the expenses related to the specific activity and the funds available in DDRN.
