DDRN Value Chain Metaguide Report

The Global Value Chain (GVC) concept has over the last few years been put into practise in a growing number of private sector projects implemented by chain actors, donors and non-governmental organisations. Several methods exist for this purpose. To guide practitioners and researchers, DDRN initiated a review of current manuals and related literature. The report was presented at the second DDRN GCV Conference on 'Global Value Chains and Sustainable Development’ held Technical University of Denmark (DTU), 24-25 May 2011.

-    a reference base in Microsoft Excel format (160 references)

DDRN GVC Reference Base

Subsequently, DDRN decided to transfer the references from the Excel format to a reference manager format with revised and full bibliographical data. Also, more references were added. The base maintains all fields included in the Excel file. However, those fields which did not correspond to a separate field in the reference manager format are registered in the Notes field. Regular updates to the main base will be provided on this page.

The main base (227 references) as well as future updates are provided in two formats (download, mark and save as plain text files):

DDRN GVC Reference Base, December 2011, generic RIS format, can be imported by a number of reference manager software, including the freeware Zotero at zotero.org, which works with the Firefox browser.

DDRN GVC Reference Base, December 2011, RefWorks tagged format, can be imported by RefWorks only, available at refworks.com.
